Major: Spanish, Community, and Culture Minor: Global Studies Year: 4th year
What do you enjoy most about your major? Learning about diverse culture through the notion of time and space.
Why did you join UNA? Favorite Memory? I have always aspired to work with international organizations so joining UNA was a must for my UCLA experience. My favorite UNA memory was being a part of the SDG Fair. It was a highly organized and professional event filled with passion and dedication. I enjoyed working with my teammates to come up with educational messages for our assigned SDG goal. Talking to people about the goals and having conversations with them on the day of the event was inspirational indeed.
Extracurriculars? I was mainly involved with UNA at UCLA.
Career goals and summer/post-graduate plans: At the current moment, I am taking summer courses and am also learning some new languages. I plan to take the GRE and apply for Grad schools while finishing up my last quarter at UCLA :)
Advice for Incoming Students and/or Continuing Students? Enjoy while you can! I miss UCLA very much now that I cannot be on campus or meet up with my friends regularly. I tried to take as many classes as I could every quarter and did my best to succeed academically. At the end of the day, I knew that learning new knowledge and skills would always be important and exciting, yet I do want to encourage you guys to make many meaningful connections with people and always spend time doing what you love! Go Bruins!
